Double Take
This eclectic wine country home uses the same exterior plan footprint for two different interior personalities.
One version has more contemporary flair; conversation, cooking, & dining areas are sections of a single open room. A a monochromatic palette of linear forms, hard surfaces, and splashes of color add the character.
The second version includes shows a bit of old world soul through color contrast, honed materials, & rounder shapes. Kitchen and casual dining space are suggestively revealed behind a dividing wall.
